The Department of Religious Studies and Religious Education at the Faculty of Arts and Letters, Catholic University in Ruzomberok offers degree programmes at two levels. At the bachelor (BA) and master (MA) level students may choose a teacher training programme teaching of religious studies (in combination with another subject). The research of the faculty members focuses on various issues from such areas as Christian liturgy, New Testament exegesis, Biblical theology, Judaism, spiritual theology, Eastern mystical tradition, new religious movements, Mariology, Marian devotion and ecumenism.
